The Village Play Group

This program is designed to nurture loving and supportive relationships between caregivers and their charges, as well
as to provide a safe place for matters of faith and child
rearing to be discussed. It is a drop-in program that is
offered free of charge.

Day:	Wednesday mornings
Time:	10:00am - 12:00 noon
Location:	Hope Fellowship Church 1685 Bloor Street, Courtice, ON
Exception:	During the summer months, we meet at a different park each week. The summer park schedule is posted below.

The first Wednesday of each month is "pot luck day".
From 10am to 11am it's free time. The children play with toys and interact with their peers and caregivers, while we all enjoy some social time. Then at 11 o'clock we share a meal together. Everyone is encouraged to bring a nut free snack to share with the group. This is also a fun day to invite a friend to playgroup.

The remaning Wednesdays are regular playgroup days. From 10 to 11am is free time, where children and caregivers play and socialise together. Then at 11 o'clock the adults who wish to participate in a discussion group can go to an ajoining room to discuss topics relating to faith and child rearing. Participation in the discussion group is not manditory. Anyone who wishes to stay with their child(ren) in the babysitting area is welcome to do so.

Summer Park Schedule

Please note:

-The 10 am meeting time is a suggestion. You may wish to arrive earlier or later than that. Some people choose to pack a lunch and stay all day. It's your summer. Do what works with your schedule.

-All the parks listed have a splash pad, so don’t forget your swimsuits, towels, sunscreen and hat.

-If it rains on a Wednesday; we will meet at Hope Fellowship Church instead of the park.

July 13th - Memorial Park, Bowmanville

120 Liberty Street South, near Baseline Road

No parking lot, park on side streets.

Regent Drive, off of Harmony Road North. 2 blocks North of King Street, turn right on Regent Drive.

August 17^th - Rosswell Park, Courtice

Take Prestonvale Road South to Field Ave. (right across from the South Courtice Arena). Turn right on South Field Ave, follow one block to Roswell, turn left on Roswell and the park is on the right.
