Posting – Hope Fellowship Director of Children’s Ministries
Hope Fellowship Church is seeking a part-time Director of Children’s Ministries. Do you have a desire to direct the ministries specifically focused towards the children involved in our church? Can you direct volunteer staff in developing programs and activities which will show children the grace of God and the love of Christ? Hope Fellowship is seeking an energetic, committed, and innovative person to fill this position. The position will start on June 11, 2018 in order that you can work alongside the current Director before they retire from the position. The position is compensated at 16 hours per week and has the following primary responsibilities:
Direct the ministries including Nursery, Jam City, Jam World, GEMS, Cadets and Vacation Bible School
Work with all staff members to bring an integrated approach to attaining the church Mission, Vision and Core Values
Effectively communicate with the parents of children via All Church meetings, Social Media as appropriate, emails and letters
Engage new volunteers and leaders to enrich the ministries and provide training as required to all volunteers of the Children’s Ministries
Develop, communicate and implement goals for the zone in line with the Mission, Vision and Core Values of Hope Fellowship
Ensure that activity plans are followed and strategic goals are met
Provides regular reports to the Senior Pastor and meets with them and other staff as scheduled
The successful candidate must provide a current Police Record Check which does not prevent them from working with any vulnerable persons.
