The Marriage Course

This program is designed to equip couples with the tools they need to build a healthy marriage that lasts a lifetime.

Created by the makers of Alpha, The Marriage Course is a series of sessions designed to help any married couple strengthen their relationship.  It is an opportunity to spend time together as a couple, looking at the important issues in your marriage. While the course is based on Christian principles couples are welcome with or without a church background. Many couples who are not churchgoers have enjoyed and benefited from doing the course.

Each week couples enjoy dessert and a special meal together and listen to a talk. Then there is plenty of time to discuss the topic as a couple. There is no group work involved at any stage of the course.

The next session will be held on Monday evenings from March 29th to May 10th.

We hope to have a celebration supper for all previous course participants on Monday, March 22nd.

 Day:  Mondays

Time:  6:45pm - 8:45 pm

Duration:  7 weeks 

Location:  Hope Fellowship Church, 1685 Bloor Street, Courtice, ON

What's Involved:   Each evening begins with dessert at 6:45 PM. There is a talk followed by an opportunity to discuss the topic together as a couple. The setting is welcoming, relaxed, unthreatening and ends at 8:45 pm.
