Special Interest Small Groups

New Members Class

This group meets to examine what it means to be a member of the Christian Reformed Church as well as a member of Hope Fellowship Christian Reformed Church.  Eight to ten people attend the class each session. It is often concluded with a Profession of Faith or baptism.

Life Recovery Group

If you are struggling with low self esteem, insecurity or addictive behaviour, we invite you to come to our Life Recovery Group on Friday evenings, 7:30 pm at the church, where you can meet with others who can relate to what you are going through in a confidential setting.

Stamping and Card Making

Anyone is invited to join us.  We are a group of women who enjoy sharing materials and stamping tools to produce a wide range of cards. We meet the first Monday of each month in Whitby and carpooling from Courtice/Oshawa is available.  We have a monthly grab bag - where you bring a stamping related item and a draw is held at the end of the night for the entire contents of the bag!  An optional monthly swap - where you make a certain number of identical cards and trade with everyone and go home with a selection of different cards.  We share all the stamps that we bring and we will continue to fill the basket at the Information Centre for our congregation's use.  We have lots of fun together, and even do some stamping!  Come and check us out – we’d love for you to join us.
