New Members Class

This group meets to examine what it means to be a member of the Christian Reformed Church as well as a member of Hope Fellowship Christian Reformed Church.  Eight to ten people attend the class each session.  A Celebration Sunday is scheduled once a year on May 27, 2012 for all those who wish to profess their Faith or be baptized.

Celebrate Recovery - Men's Step Study

Are you or anyone you know struggling with any of the following:

Guilt Depression Codependency Reliving the past Loneliness Fear Bitterness Anger Eating disorders Abuse Sexual issues Anxiety Alcohol Addiction Drug Addiction Or any other hurt, habit or hang-up?

If you are not walking in the fullness of the abundant life of Jesus Christ, when is it a good time to move forward and get the healing you need? Now is not just a good time, it’s a great time to start. Celebrate Recovery is a safe; non-judgmental Christ centered 12 step-program.

Men’s Fellowship Breakfast

A new group has started up this Fall, and is open to newcomers. Presently, they are gathering for breakfast at 7:45 am at the Olympia Restaurant in Bowmanville for a time of getting to know each other and walking together in Faith.

Stamping and Card Making

Anyone is invited to join us.  We are a group of women who enjoy sharing materials and stamping tools to produce a wide range of cards. We meet the first Monday of each month in Whitby and carpooling from Courtice/Oshawa is available.  We have a monthly grab bag - where you bring a stamping related item and a draw is held at the end of the night for the entire contents of the bag!  An optional monthly swap - where you make a certain number of identical cards and trade with everyone and go home with a selection of different cards.  We share all the stamps that we bring and we will continue to fill the basket at the Information Centre for our congregation's use.  We have lots of fun together, and even do some stamping!  Come and check us out – we’d love for you to join us.
